Build a narrative towards a successful resolution in this week’s creative writing exercise
Firstly, decide what success looks like in terms of your narrative: who will achieve it and what form it will take.
Then, set out the plot points that will take your character towards the success at the end of the story.
What point will they set out from? Would would success look like to them at this point?
What will catalyse them to achieve it?
What obstacles will they face, and how will they overcome them?
Knowing the end point of your story, write out a bullet-pointed list that sets out each step in the process of getting there.
