How does the atmosphere alter late at night? Indoors, and outside?
Who is around then, and why? What are they doing?
Do people feel and act differently late at night?
Think of a scenario that starts with someone, somewhere, late at night. Who are they and what are they doing? What thoughts are going through their head? How does the time of day contribute to the story you will set up?
What might happen to them? Use the late night as an essential element in what you’re writing.
