Cook up a new piece of work inspired by the senses in this week's creative writing exercise
Set the timer for five minutes and imagine a kitchen. Close your eyes. What can you see, hear, smell and taste? Who is working in the kitchen? What do they look like? What are they making? What colours and textures do you notice?
Open your eyes and jot down everything you can remember. Use this information to create the first draft of a story or poem.
