Does your loose change add up to a new piece of creative writing? Cash in with this week's creative writing exercise

Look at the coins in your purse or pocket. If they were characters in a story, who would they be? Create the first draft of a flash fiction story.

Think of a character who has a lucky coin. Where did they find it – or who gave it to them? What does it look like? What happens when they get greedy – or the original owner decides he/she wants it back? Create the first three paragraphs of a longer story.
