Mark Lawrence is inviting people to send him pictures of themselves holdng as many books as possible

Mark, the author of Prince of Thorns and the forthcoming King of Thorns, will post all the pictures on his website. The more books people are holding, the higher up he'll post them. He promises a prize 'of some sort' to the person who manages to hold the most books.

The rules are:

• All books face forward

• Only one person holding the books

• No Photoshop

• No solid supports, ie metal frames, shelves

Content continues after advertisements

Mark is quite happy for people to hold copies of their own book.

As you can see, Writing Magazine's editor managed to hold a decent amount of books. Can you do better? We'd love to see you try.
