Win a £1,000 first prize in the contest, which will be judged by Clare Shaw
The Winchester Poetry Prize is for original, unpublished poems up to 40 lines, in any style or form.
In addition to the first prize of £1,000, there are second and third prizes of £500 and £250, and the Kathryn Bevis Prize for the best poem by a Hampshire resident. Winning and commended poems will be published in a competition anthology.
The entry fee is £6, and then £5 for any further poems in the same submission.
The closing date is 31 July.
