Want to be a character in a new James Patterson novel?

A new interactive online adventure unites Patterson's crime fighters and gives one fan the chance to become a key character in a forthcoming novel
Starting today on Facebook, the adventure starts with Mr Patterson going missing and a supervillian called Jane Doe hacking Mr Patterson's page and posting clues as to his whereabouts. If fans can't crack the clues with seven days, he will be forced to write exclusively about Jane, and to kill off his classic detective characters.
Patterson characters Alex Cross, Lindsay Boxer, Michael Bennett and Jack Morgan will be helping investigators solve the clues.
There will be prizes for fans that discover James Patterson's whereabouts, and one will become immortalised in a new James Patterson novel.
