The winner of National Geographic Traveller's writing competition will receive a place on an Arctic expedition
National Geographic Traveller's competition for aspiring travel writers is for 400-word pieces on an inspirational travel experience.
The winning piece will be published in the magazine and online.
The prize for the winning writer is a place on nine-day Quark Expeditions Arctic expedition to Spitsbergen worth £7,000.
The closing date is 30 April.
