Send 15-minute radio plays with an Essex connection for the chance to have your work broadcast on BBC Essex
All entries must be original, unperformed fictional plays with an Essex theme that are suitable for radio broadcasting.

The selected play will be recorded at a special performance later in the year for broadcast on BBC Essex with presenter Tony Fisher.
Writers do not need to have any previous experience to submit. The judging criteria are originality, plot, storytelling, creative use of location and writing ability.
Entry to BBC Essex Playwright of the Year is free. Each writer or writing team may send one entry.
The closing date is 31 March.
