The annual contest has a first prize of £1,000 for a single poem

The Live Canon Poetry Competition is for original, unpublished poems of any length.

The winning poet will receive £1,000. The top 20 poems will be performed at the prize-giving, and the top 50 will be published in Live Canon's 2022 anthology. This year's judge is Rebecca Goss.

The entry fee is £7 for one poem, £13 for two, £18 for three, £30 for five and £30 for ten.

The closing date is 20 May.
