Poets with an interest in the Magna Carta and related themes, including liberty, human rights and democracy, are invited to apply
1215.today is a virtual house of culture based in Lincoln that features specially commissioned artworks. It is celebrating 800 years of the Magna Carta with a University of Lincoln project funded by Arts Council England that will look at societal and individual rights through various contemporary art forms.
The digital poetry residency will begin at the end of April and last for six weeks. The chosen poet will receive £1,000.
To apply, send a 500-word outline of why you are interested and how you fit the ethos of the programme, weblinks to current work and a CV.
The closing date is 3 March.
