The new Writing for Children Bursary will support one place on the Moniack Mhor Writing for Children and Young Adults course
The bursary has been donated by Mairi Hedderwick and will cover the fee for one place on the course, which takes place between 13 and 18 July. It is aimed at unpublished or published writers living and working in Scotland who have, or who would like to have, a work in progress for children or young adults.
To apply, writers should live and work in Scotland, and send a CV that demonstates that they meet the criteria, an A4 summary of the writing project outlining the work in progress, and a 1,000-word sample of work.
The closing date to apply for the Writing for Children Bursary is 27 March.
