The Old Vic's development scheme for theatre creatives includes grants for three playwrights
The Old Vic 12's selected playwrights will each receive a £5,000 commissioning fee for a new play, development opportunities and a programme of mentoring and development support. Each of The Old Vic 12 will be encouraged to work with the other emerging practitioners selected through the scheme.
Applying playwrights should be ready for their first commission (ie should have had at least one play produced or have participated in a number of stage readings).
Applications for The Old Vic 12 are open until 30 August.
