Starting on Monday, the writer's 100 Hours of Solitude project is in aid of creative writing charity Arvon

David, a writer, multimedia author and games producer, is taking a vow of silence for the duration of the project, which starts at midnight on Monday 17 December at Arvon's Lumb Bank writing centre in Yorkshire, and ends at 4am on Saturday 22 December.

He will be taking writing requests in return for donations, and is willing to respond to whatever writing challenge he is set. The whole event will be broadcast live on www.100Hours.tv. All the text will be released under a Creative Commons Zero licence, meaning it can be used by anyone without the writer needing to be credited.
