Crimefest Bursary for a Writer of Colour

The Crimefest Bursary for a Writer of Colour is intended to support a writer who has published at least one title with a traditional commercial publisher to attend Crimefest in Bristol between 12 and 15 May. The bursary which is worth £325, will include a Full Weekend Pass to Crimefest, one night's accommodation at the Mercure Bristol Grand Hotel and a guaranteed panel appearance.

To apply, send a list of publications and a 200-word note detailing what crime fiction means to you and how receiving the bursary would help your crime fiction journey. The applications will be considered by Crimefest hosts and an advisory panel consisting of Vaseem Khan and Ayo Onatade.

The closing date to apply is 30 January 2022.
