There are categories for poetry, short stories, flash fiction, poetry or flash fiction in Scottish Gaelic and poetry or flash fiction in Scots
In each category there is a £100 prize.
Entry is open. Writers entering the competition do not have to be members of the Federation of Writers (Scotland).
Poems may be up to 40 lines. Short stories may be up to 2,000 words and flash fiction, up to 500.
The entry fee is £4 for the first entry in any category, then £8 for two, £10 for three, and £3 for any subsequent.
The closing date is 30 April.
