The competition is for poetry and prose about family life
The competition theme is 'the story of us' (within the context of family life). Mothers' Milk Books is a small press specialising in mindful parenting, breastfeeding, empowering of families and family/sibling relationships, and entries should be in keeping with its remit.
There are three competition categories: poetry, prose and children's poetry. The winner in each adult category will receive £75 and publications. The winner of the children's poetry competition will get a £10 book token.
Prose entries may be up to 1,200 words. Poetry may be up to 40 lines.
Entry in the adult categories is free with any purchase made through the Mother's Milk bookstore.
The closing date is 18 January.
