Creative writing award: The Impress Prize

The winner of the prize for unpublished writers will receive publication and an advance

Now in its 12th year, the prize is open to unpublished writers of fiction and non-fiction with a full-length manuscript. The winner will receive a £500 advance and will be published in print and ebook by Impress Books.

To enter, send a book proposal and a 6,000-word sample chapter.

Entrants must not have had a full work published by a traditional publishing company.

The entry fee is £25. The closing date is 29 June.
