Enter prose, 5,000-30,000 words on Welsh themes
First prize is £1,000 in the New Welsh Writing Awards 2021.
The prize is open to fiction and non-fiction, as long as it has a Welsh theme or setting.
Entries should be 5,000-30,000 words.

The winner will receive an e-publishing deal and feedback from Curtis Brown literary agent Cathryn Summerhayes. Second prize is a four-night stay at Nant writers’ retreat cottage within the grounds of Literature Wales’ Ty Newydd Writing Centre in Gwynedd, and third prize is a two-night stay at Gladstone’s Library in Flintshire.
The entry fee is £12. The closing date is 16 March 2021.
