Convey the vibe of a party in this week’s creative writing exercise
What kind of party will you write about? Big, small, formal, informal, organised or impromtu? Who’s party is it?
Is it a celebration of something - a birthday, anniversary, special occasion? Or just an excuse for a get-together?
Is there music? Dancing? Is it the kind of party where people have dressed up, or is the dress code more relaxed?
Who is there? How were they invited? Did they need to get tickets?
What’s the atmosphere like? What could happen that would be worth putting into a piece of writing?
