Convey the sense of someone in motion in today’s creative writing exercise
What is your character doing? Running, swimming, dancing, gymnastics, flying? Decide.
Now come up with as many words and phrases as you can that express a sense of the movement and energy associated with the particular activity you’ve chosen.
• Hint: Rather than concentrating on adverbs and adjectives, think of the best verbs to describe the specific movement.

Now write a passage that brings the movement to life for a reader. Take 15 minutes.
