Plot what might happen in a festival setting in this week’s creative writing exercise
What genre will you write in?
How can you use the festival setting within the kind of story you want to tell?
What sort of festival is it? Where is it?
Whose perspective will you tell the story from?
What are the conditions that are might come into your narrative? Ie, encounters with new or unexpected people, travel, weather, kinds of behaviour, holiday feeling, excitement, euphoria?
Taking those elements into account, how might your festival-set story play out?
Write an outline and an introductory paragraph setting the scene of your chosen festival.
