Today's creative writing exercise is inspired by VE Day
75 years ago, VE Day marked the end of WW2 in Europe. For a few moments, imagine what it might have felt like to live through that time in history.
Give your character a name and age. In their own words, let them tell you about what they would like to celebrate, and the message they would like to pass on to the world today, living in lockdown, about endurance, liberation and victory.
Write for 15 minutes.
