Rack your brains for reasons to be cheerful in this week's creative writing exercise

Firstly, decide if you want to write about yourself or as a fictional character - a new one, or perhaps one from your work in progress.

Make a few quick notes about this person's life circumstances - the ones that form part of a story you're writing, or might write, if it's a fictional character.

How make notes about what makes them smile. Perhaps they're smiling for joy, perhaps they're smiling in adversity. It's up to you.
