Explore something that is not allowed in this week’s creative writing exercise
Decide what is forbidden to whom, and how you will write about it.
Why is the thing forbidden? How does the viewpoint character feel about it?
How does the viewpoint character deal with the thing that is forbidden?
Is it something that is forbidden for a particular reason? Is it a social or cultural taboo? Do you (the writer) agree with the reason, or are you strongly oppposed to it? How will you engage with it in your writing?
