Group formed as City voices in 2006. Now has 30+ members ages 16-80 of all abilities. Beginners to writing are especially welcome. Lots of fun and activities are guaranteed. We present our work to various community groups and raise money for charity from our annual festival of words and music.
We are a community learning group - i.e. our venue is paid for by the County Council. Some serious writers - some are writing for pleasure - mostly retired or semi-retired people from all walks of the community. We try our hand at all genres and meet weekly in our local village hall.
