The SCBWI is inviting entries from members for its competition for unpublished and unagented children's fiction writers
Entries are judged by top agents and editors, with the selected pieces being published in the next anthology, which is distributed across the children's publishing industry.
To enter, writers must be SCBWI members, unagented, and unpublished. Send the opening (up to 4,000 words) of a completed novel for children, plus a 75-word synopsis. Novels may be for children aged five to young adult.
Entry is free.
The closing date is 15 July.
