The awards for disadvantaged writers offer prizes of cash, publication and development opportunities
The Creative Future Awards are for writers who are marginalised or disabled. Writers may enter one piece of work in each category: fiction (300 words) and poetry (200 words) on the competition theme, which is 'impossible things'.
There are a total of twelve prizes (six in each category). All winners will be published in an anthology, and there are Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze awards of £200, £150, £100 and £50 plus packages of writing development prizes. Two highly commended writers will win a voucher for a Creative Future course.
The closing date is 15 June.
