Get off the tourist trail to write in a new retreat in the Ribiera Sacra wine region of Lugo in north-west Spain
Writer Denise Watson and her husband are opening their home to writers and individual adult students looking for peace and solitude off the beaten track to work on a writing project.
Writers on retreat will stay in an ensuite bedroom with a view of the River Mino and a valley covered in forests and vineyards. There is unlimited wifi and access to free calls to landlines and mobiles via Skype. The area is very quiet and there are no shops or bars. The bread van arrives on Wednesdays and Saturdays!
The price for a seven-night stay is £540, which includes collection from and return to the airport, accommodation, all meals and refreshments. Food will be tailored to the indvidual writers' requirements.
