Writing East Midlands and Nottingham Contemporary invite applications for two writer in residence positions
The residencies are part of the Write Here residency programme and will take place between October and March 2017 at Nottingham Contemporary art gallery. The gallery is known for inventive work, and passionate about connecting visitors with its exhibitions and learning programme.
There are two residences available to professional freelance writers, who will work wth groups of school pupils to foster interest in new writing and contemporary art and art practice.
Contract 1 is for work with three groups of Nottingham City school pupils and pays £1,977.
Contract 2 is for work with two groups of Nottingham City School pupils and pays £1,318.
The closing date to apply for a Writing East Midlands freelance writer in residency at Nottingham Contemporary is 28 September.
