Brazilian author Vanessa de Oliviera took off all her clothes in front of the Governmental Palace in Lima, Peru, to draw attention to ebook piracy

She got out of a truck wearing a long black coat, which she took off to reveal she was wearing nothing apart from a thong, stockings and the words 'No a la Pirateria' sprayed on her body.

Vanessa has published five marketing and self-help books, which draw on her experiences in her former career as a call-girl.

Whether or not it prevents piracy remains to be seen, but as a marketing gimmick, it surely won't hinder sales.
