Are you an unpublished, marginalised writer from Manchester or the West Midlands? Penguin Random House would like to hear from you!

Penguin Randon House is running the WriteNow scheme to find and develop new writing voices from communities under-represented in books and publishing in partnership with writer development organisations Writing East Midlands, Commonword and Spread the Word. 150 marginalised writers are being offered a place at regional events in Birmingham, Manchester and London. Ten selected writers will go on to be offered year-long mentorships with Penguin Random House with the goal of having a book published.

Unpublished, marginalised writers from in and around Manchester and the West Midlands are invited to apply to attend the Manchester and Birmingham events. To apply to WriteNow, submit a 1000-word writing sample by the closing date of 28 October.
