13 selected writers will be supported on Literature Wales' development scheme
Representing Wales will offer bursaries and mentoring to to writers from low-income backgrounds in Wales to develop their writing and gain knowledge about the publishing industry.
The programme will run from March 2022 to February 2023. Each selected writer will receive a bursary of £3,500, one-to-one mentoring, workshops and talks, and networking opportunities.
To apply, applicants must currently live in Wales and be creative writers on low incomes. Send a completed application form and a writing sample between 2,000 and 4,000 words of prose or between four and eight poems.
The closing date to apply is 14 December.
