Spread the Word's development scheme for under-represented London writers invites applications

The scheme, which aims to increase the number of under-represented writers being taken on by agents and publishers, will offer 30 places to writers of colour and working class, LGBTQ+ and disabled writers. Writers on the scheme will take part in a programme of critical feedback groups, professional development sessions, masterclasses and WritersLabs. The scheme is free to participants.

The 2019 London Writers Awards are in four categories: literary fiction, commercial fiction, narrative non-fiction and YA/children's fiction.

Apply for the London Writers Awards by filling in the form for the category you're interested in.

Applications are open until 31 May.
