The free-to-enter social contest is for a manuscript from an aspiring author that has the potential to be a smash hit in multiple formats
Entries uploaded to the World's Best Story site will be reviewed and voted on by the community of readers. The grand prize winner's title will be published by FastPencil PREMIERE.
Based in Montreal, World's Best Story is looking for stories with the potential to be succeed not just as prose, but in film, video game, graphic novel and merchandise formats.
Stories may be entered in the following genre categories: young adult, action adventure, crime/mystery, sci-fi/fantasy, horror, general fiction and romance.
Readers are offered rewards by World's Best Story sponsors for reviewing, rating and voting on stories.
All entries should be novel-length fiction that is original and previously unpublished. Authors may enter their self-published novels as long as they own all rights.
The deadline for the first round is 12 August.
