Four people will be selected to spend just over a year on an editorial development programme
Selected candidates on The Scheme will spend six months with two of Penguin Random House's editorial teams, with a manager, a mentor and a tailored development programme, learning how books get made and published and contributing ideas on what gets published next.
There is a salary of £23,000, 25 days' holiday and flexible benefits.
The selection process involves three steps: an application, a creative brief and video interview and a two-day selection event.
The closing date to send in an application for The Scheme is 8 April. Candidates will be informed on 3 May if they have been selected for step two.
