Hilary Mantel's Booker-winning novel about Thomas Cromwell is being developed into a TV four-parter
The adaptation is being developed by UK independent Company Pictures, who produced Skins and Shameless, and US company Playground. If commissioned, it will be shown on BBC2.
It was revealed this week that the follow-up to Wolf Hall, titled Bring Up the Bodies, will be published next year by 4th Estate and will concentrate on Anne Boleyn. Hilary Mantel intends to bring out a third book, The Mirror & the Light, which will cover Cromwell's execution.
