Win a ten grand advance in the Guardian Hot Key Books Young Writers Prize

The prize is open to unpublished writers aged 18-25 writing for ages 9-12 or 13-9

A prize, a potential publishing contract wih a £10,000 advance, will be awarded in each age category.

To submit, writers should send the first 4,000 words of a novel, plus a one-page synopsis.

The closing date is 31 May. Full manuscripts will be requested from longlisted candidates.
