The competition is open to unpublished writers across the UK
The South Wales Short Story Competition, run by Cardiff-based publisher Candy Jar Books, is for short stories up to 3,000 words. Entrants may send up to two stories. There is an entry fee of £2 per story.
All shortlisted entries will be published in the second volume of the South Wales Short Story Competition anthology. The writer of the overall winning entry will receive a Kindle Fire.
The closing date is 16 August.
