The competition for aspiring travel writers has a prize of £500 and an invitation to appear at the next Vicarious Festival in September in Somerset.
It is open to anyone who is writing a non-fiction book about their experience of an unfamiliar culture/s during a single journey. Manuscripts must be unpublished but do not need to have been completed.
To enter, send the first chapter, a 500-word synopsis, a 100-word biography plus social media links and a recent head-and-shoulders photo.
Entry is £5.
The closing date is 31 July.
