Entries may be up to 750 words, may be factual or fictional, and must be on the 'off the beaten track' theme. Whether the place is nearby, far away, real or imaginary, the winner will be the story that most makes SeniorTravelExpert.com readers want to visit it.

Although SeniorTravelExpert.com is aimed at people aged 55+, entries may come from any writer aged 16+.
The winner will get £100, and ten runners-up will each get vouchers worth £10 enabling them to take out a free subscription to firstwriter.com.
The closing date to enter the Off the Beaten Track competition is 30 September.
