Today is National Poetry Day!

Today is all about enjoying, sharing and discovering poetry - this year's theme is Messages

To celebrate, Macmillan Children's Books and Forward Arts Foundation have put together a free ebook anthology of message-themed poems.

There are poetry events taking place all over the UK, new poems have been commissioned from the five poets shortlisted for the Felix Dennis Poetry Award, and the 40 BBC Local Radio stations will each be broadcasting a poem by #BBCLocalPoets.
