The Theatre Centre invites entries of plays for secondary school children on the theme of 'treaty'

The winning writer will get script development support and a full professional commission resulting in a 10-week tour of schools and venues in 2019.

Submissions are invited from professional theatre writers. The Award is for inventive theatre interpretations of the 'treaty' theme that set local stories against a global backdrop. Plays should be be 60 minutes long, suitable for school audiences aged 13-11, and have a cast of no more than four actors.

Submit by 16 February including an expression of interest, a writer's CV, a 2-page treatment and 10 pages of existing script.
