In support of the competition, The Telegraph is running a series of masterclasses and video interviews with leading international crime writers over the coming weeks. The first is with Jo Nesbo. New masterclasses will be posted every Saturday.
All novels entered for the competition must contain an international element of some sort. To enter, send the first 5,000 words of the novel and a detailed synopsis via the online submission system.
The closing date is 30 November.
