Selected writers will be asked to pitch ten minutes of a brand new musical to a panel of judges. Perfect Pitch will provide cast, MD, director, rehearsal space and mentorshop for the pitches. The winning team will then be awarded £12,000 to complete a first draft of the show over a 12-month period.
The new Perfect Pitch Award is open to all writers, and no previous experience in writing for musical theatre is necessary.
Perfect Pitch is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to developing new musical theatre.
The closing date is 31 October.
