The one-day festival will focus on children's stories in the arts
Workshops and performances will explore the connections between children's literature, music, theatre, film and puppetry.
Writers taking part in the festival, which is run by the Federation of Children's Book Groups, include Michael Morpurgo, David Almond and James Mayhew.
The Festival of Children's Literature is in celebration of the FCBG winning the Eleanor Farjeon Award last year, in recognition of its outstanding contribution to the world of children's books.
It will take place at Birmingham Conservatoire on Saturday 9 November.
