Use Twitter to bring fiction to life in a new way, and be part of the international 2014 Twitter Fiction Festival!
The Twitter Fiction Festival, which takes place between 12 and 16 March,  is open to submissions from today. Twitter writers should complete the online form, detailing their idea for using Twitter to tell fictional stories, and providing a 140-word sample.
Possibilities for using Twitter to write fiction include parody accounts, crowd-sourcing, images/Vine, narrative/poetry and use of multiple characters/handles.
The first Twitter Fiction Festival was held in 2012. This year's festival is a partnership between the Association of American Publishers and Penguin Random House.
Submissions may be sent up to 5 February.  Judges will make their decisions about the featured storytellers at the beginning of March.
During the festival, all storytellers are invited to send stories with the #TwitterFiction.
