The bursary offers £2,500 and publication by Legend Press to an unpublished novelist
Named after Luke Bitmead (pictured), who died in 2006 and was the first author of be published by Legend Press, The Luke Bitmead Bursary was set up by his family to support and encourage fledgeling novelists.
The bursary is for full-length fiction for adults. Novels submitted for the bursary must be completed.
To submit, send a completed entry form, which may be downloaded from the website, and the first 3-4 chapters of the novel.
The closing date is 2 August.
