The small press fiction magazine is running a writing contest for historically accurate short stories
The entry fee of £3 is waived for Writing Magazine subscribers.
There is a first prize of £25 and a second of £15. The winning stories will be published in an issue of Snapshots of History.

Stories should be 1,000-2,500 words, and set in any historical period up to the end of the Second World War.
Entries should be emailed to [email protected] by the closing date of 1 February. Pages should be numbered, and a cover sheet should include the writer's contact details.
