• Moon Boy, D.M. McPhail

• The Boy With the Golden Balls, Michael Byrne

• Zach in the Making, Kelly McCaughrain

The winner of the Times/Chicken House children's fiction competition, whose novel will be published by Chicken House, will be announced in March.
